We are very pleased you are interested in seeing Series 2 of Sherlock on our channel. At this stage there are no plans to show Series 2 of Sherlock on BBC Entertainment India within the next couple of months. Please be assured, however, that your requests to see series 2 have been noted and will be made available to the team who plan the future schedules.

I would like to make a purchase of the 'undercover boss' series. How may I do that?

BBC

Dear Lee

Thank you for contacting BBC Entertainment about Undercover Boss. The series was originally commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK, not the BBC, so we are unable to direct you to the BBC Shop for this item. While certain series may not be available on DVD, we do believe this one may be, but can only suggest you try to find an alternative online or local retailer. We are sorry we could not be of more assistance on this occasion.

your present programming lacks imagination to say the least!one is bored out of one 's mind, what with the endless repeats adding to the state of coma that hits one once your channel is on.and to think i prescribed to your service-my favorite at one time-in the hope that i would not have to watch anything else other than the news.where have the comedies, mysteries gone?the only saving grace is come dine with me and the graham norton show.will we ever see the resurrection of the bbc we once knew existed?the knowledge shows are fine but one can watch discovery, etc. so what do you say?can i pay for it?because i would if i had to.

BBC

Dear KG,

Thank you for contacting BBC Entertainment with your thoughts on the channel's current programming. We are sorry you feel it lacks imagination. Our channels are put together by an experienced group of programme schedulers who fill each day with the best programmes they believe our audiences will enjoy. Viewing habits and differences in working hours mean that we do repeat our shows in different day parts in order to allow viewers plenty of opportunity to catch their favourites. We take the feedback of our viewers seriously and completely understand that they want to see more of the fresh, innovative programmes they have come to expect from the BBC. You specifically mention mysteries and comedies and we are delighted to say that, in May, there will be a new series of Primeval coming to the channel as well as a first showing of the third series of classic comedy series Yes, Minister. In June, as well as new programmes celebrating the Queen's diamond jubilee, there will be mystery in the form of Sherlock series two and comedy featuring both series of Twenty Twelve - a satirical look at the build-up to the Olympics. We do hope that these and other programmes coming up will change your view of our programming.

The only reason I subscribe to this channel is for Top Gear, but unfortuntately u guys are only showing old episodes. I you start showing the current episodes tuning in the UK

BBC

Dear Easwar

Thank you for contacting BBC Worldwide about Top Gear. We are delighted you enjoy the show. With regard to showing the most recent episodes, we should explain that, while BBC Worldwide is the commercial arm of the BBC, we do not automatically acquire the rights to BBC programmes but must compete for the rights to broadcast them with other broadcasters. Also, programmes currently airing in the UK may be subject to licencing restrictions which prevent us from broadcasting them as soon as some of our international viewers would like. That said, viewers in India are in fact very up to date with Top Gear. They will recently have been able to view the 17th and 18th series (2011/12) and are therefore as up to date with Top Gear as viewers in the UK are. Viewers who missed the 17th series will have another chance to see it on consecutive nights from 26 June, with series 18 following straight afterwards from 4 July.

We hope you found this information helpful and would like to thank you again for your interest in our programming.
